My Attitudes towards Life People’s views on life vary from person to person. Some hold like Oscar Wilde that, “Life is far too important to take seriously.” Others may argue that people should never take life seriously. So what life means to me? My answer would be a combination of the two ideas. First, I quite agree with what Oscar Wilde has said. There are reasons for us to believe that life is far too important to take seriously. We human-beings have only one life to live in this world. Every one wants to lead a life which is meaningful and colorful. When we walked to the end of our lives, what would be the feeling if we suddenly discover that nothing really meaningful happened during our lives, or there are still a lot dreams which are within our reaches haven’t been fulfilled when we were young? Hence, it is a necessity that we seriously take life and each second in it for our own good. Nonetheless, we should also keep in mind that one cannot be too serious towards life. It is known to all that good things may turn out to be bad if overdone. We would feel too stressed when we take life too seriously. Modern people are always under great pressure, most of which are put onto them by themselves. To conclude, in my opinion, one should always be serious towards life, but never too serious.
